Install Qalculate! in Linux

  1. And how do you put a message into the calculator first, before you do a calculation. If I am looking at my history trying to find a calculation I did, out of say 500 calcs in the history, for partial volume of a tank – horizontal, I am going to see 2+2 and the result 4 and know I was just messing around. 6 months after I did the original calculation for partial volume of a cylinder (tank) horizontal, there is absolutely zero chance I am going to recognize which of the calculations I have done is that one — because I might have only done that calculation once, since I don’t work in the field and I don’t normally do that calculation frequently. Would be nice to be able to put a comment or something in there before, during or after the calculation so that I know THAT calculation was the one for partial volume of a cylinder (tank) – horizontal where I wanted to know that answer for a test or part of a story or whatever.     Err … in Linux Mint you just use the Software Manager, and you’re done. No terminal, no Snap, no Flatpak needed. Maybe Ubuntu is not thee solutation. :-))
