  1. I think there’s been some misunderstanding here… Signal app has nothing to do with Skype, except for the similarities of the logos. Signal also developed encryption security for Whatsapp (before being FB), that doesn’t make the app look like whatsapp… Although all messenger apps look very similar to me. And what’s that big tech spy thing? They don’t spy on you, I’ll say the opposite, they spy a lot less than other apps. And of course you need a cellphone in order to use an app in total privacy, it’s a cellphone app to begin with.

  2. So, as far I remember they cooperated with Microsoft’s Skype in matter of design (at least) … so Signal = Skype (even using approximately the same the same icon :). In a word, no way!

  3. So in order to use this app in total privacy, you have to have a cellphone and allow big tech to spy on you and track you that way? Sorry. No deal!
