Shotcut 24.09 is Released with the Major Bug Fixes

Shotcut 24.09 is a follow-up release, an update over the previous update, Shotcut 24.08. It contains major bug fixes that will surely give users a seamless experience. First, the update is intended to fix the video freezing and improper frame rate of the Android Camera Video

On Windows, there was the Reverb audio filter as it disappeared from the Shotcut UI, becoming a headache for many users. This is why Update 24.09 fixed the issue in the first place so that users wouldn’t face any hassle.

Previously, keyframes were automatically added with the Color Grading video filter, color-related issues in the Export > Presets > stills > JPEG, and many more. Also, the 24.08 version corrupts whenever a user plays an audio-only WMA file with DTS audio, and there were some issues with the Timeline > Clip > Apply Copied Filters option. This is exactly why the new update has taken immediate action against the issues and fixed all the issues in the very first place.

It did an excellent job of adding new options. This update will give you a warning dialog whenever you change the Settings > Video Mode or Timeline > Output > Edit option.

There is also a new warning dialog for Export > Video > Resample for the oft-misused export video resolution, frame rate, and aspect ratio. This new update has the option for a new reframe video filter option, which reframes the video on the tool.

Last but not least, the 24.09 version has the new MLT 7.28.0 version and text size adjustment in the context menu for the Notes. A few options for interaction that were missing in previous versions: Now you can use the CTRL button together with the mouse wheel.
